A voice clone is for when you want voice-overs in your own voice but don't have time to record every clip: videos for your channel, lessons, greetings, a character's voice for a series. AI takes a short recording and reproduces the timbre, delivery and intonation — after that, all you do is type.
Voice cloning lives in Characters. Create a character — yourself or someone you've invented — open the Voice section and choose Own voice. Record right in the browser or upload an audio or video file: you need 10 to 30 seconds of clean speech without music. Confirm that the voice is yours or that you have its owner's consent — cloning won't start without it. Then type up to 600 characters and the character reads it in your voice.
The voice stays with the character and works across tools: a talking avatar speaks with it, and the AI Film Studio uses it for the character's lines. The AI Twin offers the same for a digital double made from your selfie. If you just need a good narrator rather than a clone, Text to Speech has ready-made voices.
