Kling 4.0, Seedance 2.5 and FLUX 3 Klein: Side-by-Side Tests and When to Use Each
We ran the same prompts through the new models and the ones they sit next to: Kling 3 vs Kling 4.0, three video models on one barista scene, three image models on one cafe shot. Here's what came back.

ImageGPT now has three more models: Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5 for video, and FLUX 3 Klein for images. Model announcements tend to show cherry-picked demos, so we did the opposite — gave each new model the exact prompt we'd already used on an older one and put the results next to each other. Nothing below has been edited.
| Model | Best at | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Kling 4.0 | Image or text to video, 5/10/15 s, 720p or 1080p, sound always on | from 87 credits per 5 s |
| Seedance 2.5 | Multi-step action and spoken dialogue, 5 or 10 s at 720p | 255 credits per 5 s |
| FLUX 3 Klein | Fast drafts and photo edits, up to 4 images per run | 2 credits per image |
Kling 4.0 vs Kling 3: same photo, same prompt
Kling 4.0 goes up to 15 seconds per clip, and 1080p costs the same per second as 720p. To see what changed in motion, we animated one photo — a woman on a cliff at sunset — with the prompt “Her hair and dress flutter in the strong wind, the camera slowly pushes in, waves crash below.”
The difference is mostly direction-following. Kling 4.0 does what you say about the camera and adds things from the prompt that weren't in the photo, like the crashing waves. If you just need a short clip and don't care about camera moves, Kling 3 is still a good option.
One barista, three video models
Next we sent a single text prompt to three models: “A barista in a cozy sunlit cafe pours steamed milk into a latte, forming a heart; steam rises, she looks up and smiles at the camera. Gentle cafe ambience.” MiniMax H3 Turbo is the budget pick, Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5 are new.
All three got there, in different ways. H3 Turbo is the one for drafts and B-roll. Kling 4.0 cuts its own mini-edit, which works well for ads and social clips. Seedance 2.5 plays the whole chain of actions as a single take with no cuts.
Seedance 2.5 can deliver your lines
Put a line of dialogue in quotes and Seedance 2.5 has the character say it, with lip movement and voice generated together with the video. Here it is animating a photo of a fashion creator with the prompt below.
She smiles and says: “Hi! Today I'll show you three autumn outfits”, then gestures towards the clothing rack
FLUX 3 Klein: images in seconds
FLUX 3 Klein is the fast tier of Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3. It costs 2 credits per image, returns up to 4 variations per run and can also edit photos with up to 10 reference images. We sent one prompt — a cozy cafe on an autumn morning, a latte and a croissant on the table, yellow leaves outside, soft light — to three models. In our run Klein finished in 4 seconds, FLUX 3 in 24 and Meta Muse in 29.

Klein doesn't replace FLUX 3 — the full model still has richer texture and finer detail. But for exploring ideas, batches of variations or a blog illustration the gap is small, and you wait and pay a fraction. A good workflow: explore compositions on Klein, render the keeper on FLUX 3.
Which one to pick
- Cheap and quick video — MiniMax H3 Turbo, from 22 credits.
- Longer clips, 1080p, precise camera moves or a multi-shot edit — Kling 4.0.
- A character who speaks your line, or a chain of actions in one take — Seedance 2.5.
- Image drafts and batches — FLUX 3 Klein; the final frame — FLUX 3.
Failed generations are refunded automatically, and you get 6 free credits when you sign up — enough for a few FLUX 3 Klein images.
