Image Converter

Any picture into the format you need, from iPhone photos to favicons and PDFs.

I

Drop files into the box above: the converter detects the format and suggests sensible targets. It reads JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, iPhone HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG, Photoshop PSD and camera RAW (NEF, CR2, CR3, ARW, DNG and more), and writes JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO and PDF.

Resize by the long side, set the quality and decide whether to keep EXIF data, all in one go. Several pictures can be merged into one PDF, and PDFs can be split into images page by page.

Most jobs run right in your browser. Only what browsers can't do goes to our server: TIFF, saving AVIF, developing RAW files and keeping EXIF.

FAQ

Which format should I choose?+

JPG or WEBP for photos, PNG for screenshots and transparency, PDF for documents, ICO for a site icon.

Are RAW files fully developed?+

On the server, RAW files are developed at full resolution. In the browser, the preview embedded in the file is used when it's full size; otherwise the server takes the file.

Is it free?+

Yes. Converting and compressing are free and need no sign-up. Without an account you can send files up to 100 MB and videos up to 10 minutes to the server; signed in, up to 500 MB and 30 minutes. In the browser, pictures up to 150 MB and videos up to 1 GB are handled locally.

Where do my files go?+

Whatever your browser can do happens on your device, and the file never leaves it. The rest runs on our server, and files are deleted about an hour after they're ready.
