Add your video, then hit “Pick a track” and choose an MP3, M4A, WAV or OGG. Two sliders set the music level and the clip's own sound, from silent to double. Drop the clip's sound to zero and the music replaces it.

“Track from” starts the song at any second, so the chorus can kick in right away. Fades soften the start and end, and if the track is shorter than the clip, “Repeat the track until the video ends” repeats it to the end.

How do I keep voices audible over the music?+

Leave the clip's sound at 100% and bring the music down to 20–40%.

Does the video lose quality?+

No. The picture is copied as is; only the audio track is rebuilt.

Is it free?+

Yes. No sign-up, no subscription, no watermark. In the browser, files up to 1 GB. When the server is needed: without an account, up to 100 MB, 10-minute videos and 60-minute audio; signed in, up to 500 MB, 30-minute videos and 3 hours of audio.

Where do my files go?+

Files are processed right in your browser and never uploaded. If the browser can't handle one (a rare format, a very large file or an old browser), it goes to our server instead and is deleted about an hour after it's ready.
