EXIF

Remove EXIF data and location from photos

See what's hidden in a photo — where it was taken, on which phone, when — and strip it in one click.

I

Phone photos carry more than the picture: the camera model, date and time, and often the exact GPS location. When you share a photo as a file, all of that goes along with it.

Upload a photo to see every field and a warning if it contains a location (you can open it on a map). Removing strips EXIF, GPS, XMP and comments without re-compressing: the picture stays pixel-perfect, and orientation and colour profile are kept.

Good to know

Your photos stay on your device

Everything runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded, so it's fast and safe for personal photos and documents.

Lossless

JPGs aren't re-compressed; only the metadata goes.

Up to 50 photos at once

Add a whole batch: the settings apply to every photo and you download them all as one ZIP.

FAQ

How can I see where a photo was taken?+

Upload it: if the file has coordinates, the tool shows them with a map link.

Don't social networks strip metadata anyway?+

Many do when you post, but not all, and not when you send a photo as a file by email or in a messenger.

Will it damage the photo?+

No, the picture stays pixel-perfect. Orientation and colour profile are kept.
